We were excited to be home for Christmas. It was the first Sunday services at our home church since June. Over this last year we have traveled 25,000 plus miles visiting 66 churches.

 

Nineteen have partnered with us for 22% of our needed support.  Things change a lot in six months.  Malea finished her first semester at the local community college, Larissa got a drivers permit, and Javan has grown 2 ½ inches. Thanks for your continued prayers.  They have been the balm that held us together when the road was long or the atmosphere gets tense.

 

This Christmas break gave us a chance to catch our breath and to check on some of our bus riders from Cherry Street Baptist, our home church.  Derrick, whom I spoke of in our last letter, got baptized.  Kim, a mother of three, from our ministry, called the church to secure a ride for her kids. Malea and I went by to see her and she professed Christ as her Savior.

 

New ministry partners in December  Calvary Baptist Crowley TX;  Freedom Baptist Brookfield, MO; Mt Ararat Baptist Cabool, MO; and Parkcrest Baptist, Springfield, MO.   Praise the Lord for these ministry partners.

Prayer Requests:  Sybil had to have a root canal and crown following a visit with the oral surgeon.  This is an $1800 unexpected expense.

 

Pray that the necessary support would come in as we continue our journey to Reach Kenya for Christ.  Pray that Christ would be lifted up in all we do!  Would you take 15 seconds to pray for us as you read this letter?
